Promotion of Ukrainian and Canadian culture and education to residents of the community of Richmond and surrounding area is accomplished by: -Maintaining a historical library of Ukrainian and Canadian history and culture -Display of cultural and historical artifacts presentation of cultural films hosting of book clubs -Conducting classes and public displays of traditional Ukrainian arts and crafts -Providing practice facilities and storage for Ukrainian Canadian dance groups -Provision of ethnic food music dance and cultural practices at community events as well as providing opportunities for community members to volunteer to participate in food preparation and cultural activities in support of community events -Hosting of cultural events and shows
