Trochu and District Senior Citizens Association

Operate coffee and other refreshments 6 mornings a week and this is operated by volunteers who are most members who make the coffee serve and then clean up. The center is open to members and anyone else who wishes to drop in. We have card games shuffle board and dart games for enjoyment we try and host a specific event once or twice a month o=including pot lucks pie day hamburger & fries pancake & sausage. We hold a birthday bingo on the second tuesday of the month we co ordinate with local legion to host a luncheon on remembrance day participate in the july 1 parade have a xmas silent auction and a xmas banquet for members and non members. We have music jams with local musicians in 2024 we donated to our local food bank and a major employer of the town had a devasting fire which put over a 100 local residents out of work.
