Developing and delivering training online via webinars and in person to front line transition house and women’s shelters workers across BC and Canada including an Annual Training Forum. Facilitating and supporting services and programs for women and their children fleeing violence. Coordinating training and supporting PEACE programs that serve children and youth across BC. Coordinating Violence is Preventable (VIP) programs in schools which provide support and education to children and youth ages 3-18 through presentations counselling and group interventions as well as ongoing public education and prevention activities. Providing a library of resources to members. Publication of a weekly newsletter. Research to create promising & best practices for front line workers executive directors and counsellors. Technology safety training providing training and resources to front line workers law enforcement and others who serve women and children exposed to violence on the safe use of technology. Increase women’s access to safe affordable housing following violence in concert with members. Cedar Blankets increasing access to transition houses and safe homes for Indigenous women and their families. Distributing a Bursary Fund for women with lived experience. Training and supporting transition houses in BC who are designing and building new women centred housing to meet the needs of women children and youth fleeing violence. Training and support for members related to emergency management service continuity plans. Menstrual Equity Project. Decolonization and Reconciliation work with the BCSTH Board Society and Indigenous membership.
