The westmorland historical society inc. Commits to the collection preservation and to make available a wide variety of materials illustrative of the history and culture of westmorland county in its newsletter publications and website. Ongoing activities include management of keller house museum which houses an important collection of historical artifacts as well as the graydon milton library and genealogy centre. Restoration and maintenance of historic properties including the st. James presbyterian church the bell inn as an authentic setting in which to display to artifacts as living history and the payzant & card building which hosts the library. To sustain and improve them they regularly put on special events most notably the haunted house tour and the victorian christmas dinner.
