The United Church of Canada Foundation / Fondation De L'Église Unie Du Canada

The foundation’s purpose is to foster deep spirituality bold discipleship and daring justice by attracting and deploying financial resources. Through capacity building convening granting and careful stewardship of funds entrusted to the foundation it supports congregations ministries and programs that enrich the united church of canada create a more just planet and celebrate god’s abundance in the world. The foundation provide grants through our granting and scholarship programs and in fulfilment of donor wishes and it aligns its investments with its values through a small set of impact investments. The foundation support the united church of canada its participating congregations camps seminaries schools foundations and other related corporations that further the purposes of the united church of canada as well as other entities including but not limited to registered charities and qualified donees who further the purposes of the united church of canada. The foundation also provides scholarships bursaries and other forms of financial assistance to members adherents staff and minsters/clergy of the united church of canada as well as faculty of united church related theological schools including lay and ordained leaders to be used for theological post-secondary education theological or missional focused research continuing education and professional development for lay and ordained leaders.
