The Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'Is of Winnipeg

During the this fiscal period the spiritual assembly of the bahais of winnipeg carried on its usual activities of holding 19 day feast (hybrid) celebrate/commemorate the 9 holy days hold weekly assembly meetings appoint some committess to help with the various functions of the assembly. A task force was appointed to study and implement vulnerable sector training police check requirements etc. Assembly also helped with the neighborhood children class and junior youth / youth moral education and empowerment activities. Assembly helped other bahai institutions in organizing short junior youth and youth camps . The spiritual assembly provided financial support and earmarked funds to the national spiritual assembly of the bahais of canada. The spiritual assembly supports and encourages food donation collection at the bahai centre which is then passed on to winnipeg harvest.
