The Realistic Success Recovery Society

Registered with the bc ministry of health’s assisted living registry for mental health and substance abuse facilities. We provide non-medical detox; intake and outreach with potential clients; alcohol and drug addiction programming conducted by certified addiction counselors. Residents are introduced to aa and other 12 step meetings as well as participating in an intensive 12 step study group which most participants find life changing. Rehabilitation through recreation trips to a local park within walking distance. Two relapse prevention workshops each year – one internally and one in the community. Education for life skills teaches clients basic life skills – cooking cleaning gardening punctuality and simple house maintenance. Our restorative health program provides one/one counselling with our staff addictions counselors. We assisted 254 men in 2024. 6 with multiple years in residence. 80 volunteer residents assisted with day to day operations of the trilogy houses. 47 men have been managers receiving a small honorarium. Intake phone calls: 10 132; 144% from 2023. 556 individual counselling sessions provided. 71% clients from corrections. 62% remained in programming for 120 days. 15 men transferred to 2nd stage supportive recovery with 3 multi year residents.
