The Palliative Care Society of Antigonish Town and County

Provide supports to individuals and families who have life ending illnesses through the purchase and rental of equipment and medical provisions. Programming includes payment for equipment rentals and medical care materials. The society promotes palliative care in a patients' home and advocates for individuals who wish to remain at home during end of life care. The society provides equipment that may not be easily accessible outside of the hospital and purchases supplies and care supports for patients. Providing prepared meals groceries funding expenses to spouses and family members when in financial and emotional need. Providing grief supports for families through purchase of books materials and other items as needed.
