The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc.

Our Hospice operates two residences one located in Windsor and the second our Erie Shores Campus located in Leamington. With 12 patient suites at our Windsor Residence and 11 suites at our Erie Shores Residence our Hospice offers a total of 23 palliative care beds - all at no cost to our patients and their loved ones. The care in our homes is provided by specially trained medical care staff and volunteers. We also offer our Palliative Medicine Program to the Windsor-Essex community. This program supports patients so that they can stay with their loved ones in their home with care from our clinical team. Our doctors nurse educators social workers and spiritual care team provide support to patients and their loved ones through in-person home visits as well as virtual (video) appointments. Additionally we support patients and their loved ones in many ways through our Wellness Programs and Services that are offered at both our Windsor Wellness Centre and our Erie Shores Welcome Centre. Our volunteers are an essential part of Hospice we would not be able to offer all of our programs and services at no cost to the community without their support. Over 545 individuals provided over 94 330 volunteer hours during the year in support of our Hospice.
