This year we continued on a project funded by the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia and completed the last phase for Indigenous students at Dalhousie University. 2023/2024 - Earth-Connected Wisdom for The Digital Age – Supporting the Mental Health of Indigenous Students with Mi'kmaq Elders and their Traditional Knowledge The Nature Remedy and Personal Wellness Skills. The focus this year has been on our Earth-Connected Wisdom for The Digital Age program – supporting the wellbeing of the Indigenous students at Dalhousie University. We are working with Elder Ann LaBillois and her team at the Indigenous Student Centre (ISC) including our Student Co-ordinator Ella Parsons. Deki Crofton has been working on a contract basis editing the grant proposals program development and bookkeeping. 1. 2024/25 - Care for the Caregivers: A Self-Care Wellness Program to Support Nurses Teachers and Mental Health Workers in Nova Scotia. 2. 2024/25 - Spirit Strong Together – Youth Mental Health in this Age of Climate Anxiety Diversity and Digital Addiction with Less Screen More Green and the Mindful Tech Plan?.
