Providing post-secondary education by teaching learning scholarship research and community service; --Funding of endowed academic chairs created to assist with achieving the academic goals and objectives of the University; --Philanthrophic support for individual faculty initiative and projects outlined in the University's planning documents. These includes some smaller capital projects visiting lectureships symposia student athletic events and students learning activities not funded by University grants.
