The Association of Volunteer Centres and Volunteer Engaging Organizations of Alberta

Volunteer alberta strengthens and creates pathways for volunteerism and civic engagement in alberta. Volunteer alberta continues to offer nonprofit learning and organizational development (ex. Volunteer screen program webinars) sector engagement (ex. Convening networks social media engagement) collective work exploration (ex. Alberta nonprofit network collaborations) championing volunteerism and civic engagement (ex. Volunteer week grants participating at decision making tables and networks) youth leadership development (ex. Alberta civil society emerging leaders program) and sharing resources (ex. Via website and newsletters). Volunteer alberta is a connector champion and catalyst for volunteerism and civic engagement in alberta. Our vision is of engaged connecting and empowered communities building a flourishing alberta. We provide: learning opportunities (ex. Webinars) member and network engagement (ex. Updated membership benefits bi-weekly alberta volunteer centre network calls) advancing discussions around collective work (ex. Abnn network stewards) and supporting volunteer engaging organizations (ex. Resource library). Social r&d portfolio (ex. (re)engaged:volunteerism from the ground up project); nonprofit workforce support (ex. Community nonprofit internship program).
