To advance medical education and promote academic medicine through: the development and provision of services to support the work of the faculties faculty members staff and students along the continuum of undergraduate postgraduate and continuing medical education; the establishment of pan-canadian physician resource planning to meet the health needs of canadians; and the development and provision of services to support health research trainees health researchers and training environments.
