The Alumni Association of the Niagara Parks Commission Schoo

The Foundation provided awards bursaries and scholarships for undergrad and graduate students of the Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture. Contributes to the updating of resources at the NPC School of Horticulture library (hardcopy and digital) and contributes to projects on the School grounds/botanical garden. Supports horticulture students with registration for and attendance at supplementary courses competitions horticultural/landscape/arboricultural conferences and trade shows as part of their theoretical and practical education experience. Promote horticulture and horticulturally related education. The Foundation undertook the collection of donations for the development of a new feature garden at the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens and School of Horticulture which will help students and visiting members of the public better understand shade-loving plantings. This 'Recognition Garden' will also incorporate features that recognize the many individuals who have contributed to the development of the Botanical Gardens and the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture.
