The Actuarial Foundation of Canada/La Fondation Actuarielle Du Canada

The afc contributed funding to other registered canadian charities and universities to develop and/or deliver programs to enhance mathematical or financial management skills. The mission of the afc is to support youth financial literacy education and careers in actuarial and mathematical sciences which is fulfilled by 1) contributing to registered canadian charities whose mission aligns with that of the afc; 2) providing funds to universities colleges and high schools to grant scholarships to deserving students and 3) granting the maple leaf research award to support a student who has completed a qualifying research paper.
