1. Communication/Community Development: promoting humane and informed criminal and social justice policy practice and responsible leadership to foster safer communities by informing and educating members and general public on criminal and social justice issues; advocating for evidence-based approaches to criminal and social justice; coordinating professional development events; liaising with public private & voluntary stakeholders in criminal and social justice to advance collaborative relationships and communication. 2. Research & Policy: promoting informed criminal and social justice policy practice and responsible leadership by formulating and disseminating evidence-based policy positions and research reports; monitoring advising on and responding to justice legislation and practices through reports briefs meetings and consultations. 3. Governance & Membership Services: Assisting members regarding policy and other areas of concern. 4. Peer Mentoring: Supporting provision of peer mentoring to individuals serving life or long term sentences.
