Secc continues to provide seniors frail elderly & adults with disabilities with supervised social & recreational day programs; meals on wheels; door to door assisted transportation; scheduled telephone calls to promote their safety and well being; and case management. Secc provides newcomers to canada in language instruction and assistance in settlement process. Secc provides translation services literacy & numeracy tutoring. Provides unemployed ontarians who are out of school & out of work with assistance to find a job secure employment or alternatives to completing their education. Canada ontario jobs grant provides funds to employers to invest in their workforce with help from the government who wish to purchase training for their employees. Secc receives funding from the united way / centraide windsor-essex county to provide a program called ignite to provide a safe and inviting place for children ages 7-12 living in the leamington area. Secc also offers migrant worker supports. During 2023 - 2024 secc received funding from esdc to offer lend a hand services to seniors - free lawn care housekeeping snow removal services for eligible seniors.
