We are a group of lay people acting within the mandate of the society of st. Vincent de paul of canada to render spiritual and material aid to the poor and disenfranchised members of our community regardless of religious affiliation. We give emergency services and assistance to those in need in the form of food clothing shelter furniture and medical care. We also on occasion pay for heating rent and vehicle repairs for those in need primarily within the boundaries of st. Louis parish waterloo ontario. We also assist single young mothers with their newborn babies. We also financially support initiatives of local charities to which we are associated in purpose such as the national council and kitchener ontario chapters of the st. Vincent de paul society marillac place women's shelter and chalice canada).
