S.u.c.c.e.s.s. A non-partisian and not-for-profit charitable organization was incorporated in 1974 for the purpose of promoting the well-being of canadians and newcomers. Originally an immigrant settlement service organization s.u.c.c.e.s.s. Has since developed into a multi-service multicultural agency that serves more then 82 000 clients annually. With over 35 service locations across canada and in asia we offer programs and services for individuals and families who are preparing for canda temporary residents permanent residents or who are already canadian citizens. Programs are delivered in culturally appropriate ways to best meet the needs of our clients. We also operate and manage affordable housing projects throughtout metro vancouver. (1) community leadership initiative (cli) supports youth's civic engagement through volunteerism and community work. Youth are provided with professional and impactful mentorship to carry out community projects (led by youth) and propose solutions to local issues in their neighborhoods. (2) the s.u.c.c.e.s.s. Seniors academy aims to engage immigrant seniors aged 55 and older in a variety of activities that promote lifelong learning enhance social connectedness and improve the knowledge and skills that contribute to their physical and mental well-being. The program offers senior-led and senior-focused activities specifically designed for cantonese and mandarin-speaking seniors living in metro vancouver supporting their ability to age in place (3) the s.u.c.c.e.s.s. Age well at home program aims to enhance the quality of life for low-income and otherwise vulnerable seniors by providing navigation services that help them access local rescources enabling them to age comfortably at home. The project provides volunteer-based support offering services such as social meals grocery assistance friendly visits transportation and community rescource navigation.
