Pilley'S Island Heritage Society Inc.

We operate a cultural museum in an 80+ year old 2 room + a 120 year old methodist/united church. We have a board of directors consisting of 7 volunteers 100+ volunteer hours were put in over the summer. We offer museum tours walking trail lookout tour observation deck + picnic tables where visitors can stop for a lunch + rest. Pilley's island has a rich pyrile mining history dating back to 1886. Visistors come looking for information on their ancestors
