Feeding Others of Dartmouth Society

Purpose to provide nutritious hot meals (noon) to adults 16 years and up; many are physically and/or mentally challenged most unemployed. Donations received from the downtown churches monetary or meals provided for a particular day. Some provide 1 or more meals per month while others send volunteers. Average 125 daily upwards to 140. Staff and volunteers prepare serve and clean up. Suppers served mon tues and wed to supplement those unable to participate in our lunch program. We are open 365 days (as we are aide) special meals served during holidays. We rely upon the generosity ofthe public for donation. Annual christmas full of caring dinner and auction to raise funds to maintain our current clientele setting aside. Monies for repairs and upkeep of the property. Capital expenditures require proposals submitted for approval as we are a heritage property. Continual work done inside and out.
