Family Service Association of Western Nova Scotia

Fsawns supports sustainable human rights-based structural change at individual family community and system levels. At all of these levels we serve and advocate for under-served over-criminalized excluded youth families and communities. We link the people we serve with the prevention and early intervention social determinants of health supports they have a right to access (social inclusion food security education employment housing...). We work at all levels to replace costly and unsustainable interventions with sustainable individual family community and system solutions. Programs included youth outreach family connections and the men's program homelessness prevention social enterprise developments supporting youth and families we serve.
