Entomological Society of Saskatchewan Inc.

The Entomological Society of Saskatchewan fosters interest in the science of entomology though outreach and education events through bi-annual meetings and through handing out scholarships to deserving student and other candidates. We provide a forum for discussion about entomology in Saskatchewan through our online platforms and bi-annual meetings. We also provide speakers who increase interest about entomology through outreach to school and other groups through our Youth and Amateur Encouragement Committee. This fulfills our mandate of stimulating interest in entomology in our province. Our biennial meetings also gives our student members the opportunity to present their research at a local level. This year we held a national meeting along with our Provincial meetings. That occupied members of our society for the first portion of the fiscal year. We welcomed nearly 200 entomologists from around the country to our Joint Annual Meeting held with the Entomological Society of Canada.
