Desta runs its programs and services through three main pillars of activity: continued learning offers distance education programs for youth wishing to complete their high school education; individualized study plans and 1-on-1 tutoring services; collective learning opportunities through workshops and relevant outings; desta education subsidy offers financial assistance for students to help defray tuition costs. Health and personal development offers leadership training through workshops civic participation and advocacy; individual support services; promotes healthy lifestyle through physical activities. Employability provides pre-employability assistance training and entrepreneurial support; link participants to employment opportunities; provide a healthy snacks and meals for our various programs and services by providing a total approximately of 1700 volunteer hours.
