Churches of Salmon Arm Used Goods Society

The charity operates as a used goods retail store where donated items of clothing household goods furniture hardware and other necessary items are provided for the unfortunate and needy of salmon arm and area at low or not cost. There are approximately 140 volunteers who are scheduled to work on various days some help sort and clean products brought in by the cimmunity while others help stock the store shelves. We have 63 paid employees including full and part time people. Local charities that are involved in feeding housing or providing family resources to those in need have the opporunity to apply for grant funds through our organization-funds permitting and if criteria is met accordingly. Our on line auction is another way to reach members of our community in need.
