Chaleur Music Festival Musique Chaleur

The music festival's purpose is to continue to simulate an interest in music education in our community and outlying areas and is open to people of all ages and ability. We aim to raise the standard of music and music education in the Chaleur region of New Brunswick. Workshops with festival adjudicators and concerts are undertaken during the festival week in April. This year we included non-competitive categories at every level/class into the festival. Because it was such a positive change larger groups continued to be given the option of having the adjudicator travel to their location instead of needing to arrange travel which may have been a cost deterrent for them (for example - school groups where transportation was a hindrance).
