Canadian organic growers ( cog) is canada's national organix farmer and consumer association and is a registered educational charity. For 49 years cog has offered training and resources to raise awareness about organics and has assisted farmers and gardners in adopting sustainable and commercially viable regenerative organix production methods. Cog connects communities across canada to build a food system guided by organic principles of health sustainability and fairness is engaged in educational programming research policy work and sector development at the local regional and national level. Cog offers a voice for organic farmers and consumers to governments of matters related to food and farming. This is achieved through the delivery of education programming through gorwing up organic a curriculum - linked program operating in multiple school boards in ontario. The regenerative organic oats program works to develop communities of practice amongst farmers in the prairie and focuses on developing strong peer-to-peer knowledge exchange networks. Consumer education has been focused on the development of cog's organically canadian web portal. Farmer and agronomist training has been addressed through the development of adult - focused curriculum development specifically for cover cropping. Cog's bookstore develops and deliver hard-copy and digital resource for farmers and consumers and cog undertkaes policy adovcacy through research and date drivent development & analysis.
