Cmha swan valley branch provides mental health based support through a peer support (self-help) program including individual and group based sessions resource referral and distribution and education through the hope (helping others through peer education) learning centre we provide a drop-in centre with accessto support staff for all community members ages 18+ as well as a library of books and other resources. We have built and continue to own maintain and operate four apartment complexes titled echo (emergency community housing opportunities) that provide housing in three categories - emergency transitional and affordabel long-term. It is our mandate to have at least 50% of tenants in each building living with mental health/illness challenges/disorders.
