Chef provides grants to non-profit groups community and professional associations school dividions and first nations schools where home economists serve families by promoting information to the public and professionals on topics within their expertise. Topics include family financial management foods and nutrition consumerism family and clothing and textiles. This is done through media public education lectures and workshops. Chef also provides grants for university research plus assistance to undergraduates and graduate students related to the home economics profession with financial awards.
