Congress for the Humanities and Social Sciences: We organize Canada’s largest annual academic gathering for thousands of researchers graduate students policymakers and members of the public converge to exchange knowledge and engage in discussions about critical issues of our time. Awards to Scholarly Publications Program: We award approximately 15 grants each month to help authors publish and translate scholarly books in Canada. Selections are based on a rigorous independent merit- review process. Big Thinking: We organize and host virtual conversations with leading Canadian researchers on public policy issues and other questions important to Canada’s future. Collaborative Programs with the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC): In collaboration with SSHRC we conduct research organize workshops and build the capacity of researchers in Canada to create and publish knowledge improve their skills and support Equity Diversity Inclusion and Decolonization.
