Canadian Fait (food Allergy Immunotherapy) Foundation

During the fiscal period the Canadian FAIT Food Allergy Immunotherapy Foundation continued several core programs in support of its mission to improve the lives of Canadians affected by food allergies: Public Education and Awareness Provided evidence-based information about food allergies diagnosis and treatment options particularly immunotherapy. Educational materials were delivered through webinars digital content and public outreach. Patient Support and Advocacy Maintained resources to help families navigate food allergy care including downloadable toolkits virtual peer groups and referrals to specialists. Advocated for improved access to treatment and consistent clinical standards across provinces. Professional Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing Engaged with Canadian allergists and medical professionals to support awareness of allergy immunotherapy. Volunteers contributed time and expertise to develop educational tools and strengthen public understanding of emerging treatments. In addition to its ongoing work the foundation launched new initiatives to expand its reach and impact: Food Allergy Infographic & Awareness Campaign Developed a visually engaging national infographic highlighting the burden of food allergies in Canada critiques of avoidance-based strategies and the potential of treatment. Distributed digitally and in print to raise awareness among the public and health leaders. Volunteer Onboarding & Training Modules Created new volunteer orientation materials to support the foundation’s growing volunteer base. These resources ensure consistent messaging engagement and support across public-facing education activities.
