Canadian Disaster Animal Response Team Southwest Bc Society

Cdart provides disaster response services for domestic animals and trains volunteers to provide the same. Such services consist of but are not limited to: setting up and running emergency animal shelters evacuating animals left behind caring for animals shelters in place recovering animal remains providing emotional support to bereaved evacuees setting live traps to rescue animals providing forms and other documentation to track animals in our care coordinating food supplies and volunteers and debriefing animal disaster responders. Cdart also provides public education in print on-line and in-person top promote preparedness to individuals for their domestic animals. No new programs for fiscal 2024.
