The purpose of the canadian cardiovascular society academy is to support education research scholarships and bursaries for medical students and prospective cardiovascular specialists. In addition they intend to provide prospective cardiovascular trainees with programs and services that will span between the moment they behin specialized training until the completion of their fifth year of employment. The academy has chosen to focus on providing support for the medical students prospective cardiovascular specialists scientists is training and current cardiovascular training as a means of encouraging the continuation of a strong cardiovascular sector for the future. Examples of the ongoing programs would be; trainee review programs (trps) have a heart bursary program trainee program at ccc trainee networking luncheon at ccc & the future leaders program.
