1) Administering programs which facilitate the international mobility of students/trainees 2) Supporting the establishment of and ongoing support to education institutions in other countries incorporating Canadian best practices in education 3) Implementing training/capacity development projects which share Canadian expertise in a range of sectors (e.g. education public administration etc.) with partners in other countries 4) Promoting the publics understanding of the importance of global learning for the quality of education 5) Enhancing the capacity of Canadian education institutions to provide effective global learning (e.g. providing opportunities to share good practices; developing partnerships with overseas counterparts; conducting and disseminating research on key issues in global learning)
