During 2024 the charity continued to support and promote our web-based educational tool-'start the talk' to help professionals talk to children and teens about whwen cancer affects their families -the charity continued to update revise and disseminate clinical practice guidelines for psychosocial oncology care. -capo continued to be an active stakeholder participating on numerous committees to advance psychosocial oncology and laid the foundation for the formation of a national quality council to address pyschosocial needs and standards. -the charity promoted copingwithcancer.ca- a website designed to inform the public about supportive care programs for patients and their families. Capo continued to work on updating distress screening training modules capo continued work on updating the emotional facts of living with cancer booklet the charity hosted its 39th annual conference held in-person in calgary fron june 6 to 7. They also hosted 5 webinars as part of the capo webinar series. Capo continued work on a staffing ratio for psychologists as a follow up to the work done for social work. Capo began work on amendments to the survivorship guidelines funded by the canadian partnership against cancer (cpac)
