Canadian Association of Psychoanalytic Child Therapists (CAPCT)

The capct serves its members and mental health professionals by providing continuing education and professional development opportunities for the advancement of psychoanalytic thought in clinical practice. The continuing education programs is for our members and the extension program is open to mental health professionals in the community. The capct also serves parents who are looking for well-trained child and adolescent psychotherapists. Psychoanalytic child and adolescent psychotherapists provide assessments and psychotherapy for children adolescents & families who have difficulties in thinking feeling or behaviour that interferes with healthy development and emotional well-being.
