The canadian association for global health (cagh) is the result of an amalgamation of the canadian coalition for global health research (ccghr) and the canadian society for international health (csih) which took place on june 29th 2021. Cagh continues the activities of the two previous organizations. It is a convener partner and champion for global health equity. Cagh promotes global health knowledge exchange and facilitates networking dialogue and knowledge brokering on issues of global health. This includes convening the annual canadian conference for global health (ccgh) as well as coordinating international and national networks on issues of global health importance that align with canadian priorities as well. Cagh also helps develop global health leaders through its mentornet program which increases student and emerging professionals' understanding of the nature and breadth of global health work. Cagh also supports student chapters of its organization at various canadian universities is a non-african partner of the consortium for advanced research training in africa and supports canadian women in global health as well. Cagh collaborates with its institutional members and other partners to amplify its voice and impact on global health matters in canada and internationally.
