Calgary Young Women'S Christian Association

Yw calgary supports women and their families in meeting their immediate and most basic needs and works directly with them to create positive and long-lasting change in their lives. We believe that healthy women and healthy families lead to thriving communities and our services are designed to help women and their families find stability and build assets skills and confidence to make permanent positive change in their lives. Through various programs we support women and their families who are experiencing abuse homelessness poverty addiction mental health concerns and under employment. Our services and programs include crisis shelter housing addictions counselling early childhood development language skills childcare parenting support employment and economic empowerment support.
