Burin Peninsula Laubach Literacy Council Inc.

1.) awabe level /program offers a full day of classes from sept-june. 2.) we ward a 'student of the year bursary' - no candidate this year. 3.) we partner with other organizations to promote literacy. 4.) we have summer read for fun program for students k-7. 5.) we have 2 more book box libraries ready to be erected in burin-marystown area and donated/library to another area of the peninsula-stocked regularly 6.) our twice yearly book give-away are continued-very successful. 7.) our facebook page is kept updated and followers are increasing. 8.) celebrate 'family literacy day' with events to promote literacy.
