The Foundation works to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of health organization and to promote the health of Bulkley Valley residents by gifting to qualified donees and by undertaking ancillary and incidental activities. During the year the Foundation committed funds to purchase or assist in purchasing: For Bulkley Valley District Hospital a CT scanner imaging upgrade an elastography upgrade a pediatric resuscitation cart PAL training materials upgrade to inpatient consultation space 2 portable ultrasound machines inpatient bed replacement gynnie stretcher bariatric super pole 3 wheelchairs a bed rail assist an overhead lift system a 6' ramp and a cardiac monitor/ECG workstation.
