Boston Bar/North Bend Enhancement Society

Community museum boston bar community hall and grounds-used for community meetings celebrations senior social programs funded by new horizons and the better@home program. We also host the canada day celebration multicultural day hallowe'en party remembrance day and a seniors christmas dinner. The food bank is under our umbrella along with the frances harrington park-local tourist stop-home to the historical aerial ferry provide a website and update a monthly calander and news letter. We run a shuttle bus to take community members shopping and to programs outside the community. Unfortunately we had to stop providing the capc & cpnp programs as of march 31 2024. This year we added in more entertainment for the community in celebrating multicultural day. We also brought in a comedy night. We have added a 'welcome wagon' basket for all new comers to our community with small gifts and information on our area.
