Big Cove First Nation Wellness Committee Inc

The organization helped articulate and communicate the wellness initiatives with elsipogtog including - youth initiative suicide crisis intervention restorative justice youth mental health integrated service delivery (isd) based at school youth mental health transformation of services (access) based at youth center safe space. The committee is working to develop and implement a long term mental health program: develop guidelines for programs on violence prevention positive parenting and self-esteem; coordinate the application of resource from various agencies whose mandates deals with wellness; seek funding to enhance and promote wellness and healing of people in elsipogtog.
