Bethel United Reformed Church of Calgary

1. Bethel urc is a place of worship. The congregation members own the facility and elect the council (directors). 2. Weekly worship services in person and can also be followed on livestream. Weekly bible studies and youth activities except during summer. 3. Mission and evangelism activities. Supporting various (christian) charities and needy causes like foodbanks including food drives. Benevolence to people in need. 4. Community outreach through a vacation bible school in summer and regular social gatherings for mothers and toddlers in and beyond the community. 5. Other programs through colleges and conferences; a youth conference is organized twice a year. Most programs for members and non-members. 6. To enable these programs bethel employs one full time staff (the pastor) and one part time (secretary). Rest done by many volunteers.
