Anglican Synod of the Diocese of British Columbia

St. Peter quamichan is an anglican church affiliated with the anglican diocese of british columbia. Its main purpose is to provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to its members and to members of the surrounding communities. Christian stewardship of people land and buildings is forefront in its operation. Leadership and congregational members strive to provide programs and practice that are inclusive to all. The parish supports local charitable organizations that provide assistance to the homeless and those dealing with food insecurity. The parish practices and promotes programs that support and encourage good environmental practices. This past year the parish became actively involved in establishing close relationships with first nations elders and their communities. Reconciliation with our first nations neighbours is forefront. Plans are being made to start and maintain a literacy program in 2025.
