Women's Alcohol And Drug Advisory Centre Incorporated

We assisted women, and women with children under 5 years, to detoxify from use of alcohol and other drugs and undertake a behavioural therapy program while in residential rehabilitation. The behavioural therapy program is aimed at assisting women to take better control of their lives, by providing the skills to assist them in meeting life challenges without the support of harmful substance use. We also provided pre and post treatment support to women so they could access appropriate services for hospital detoxification, deal with crises or relapse, and maintain the skills learned in program.
