Western Australian Light Railway Preservation Association

Our purpose is restoration and preservation of heritage railway within WA including locomotives, rolling stock, signals and buildings. The restoration of an NG15 steam locomotive is well under way with steam pressure testing and movement occurring. We operate a support museum and regular weekly train services within Whiteman Park running steam and diesel locomotives seasonal dependent with a view to educational programs for schools and the general public, and offering the joy of experiencing heritage rail to all. People with disabilities are especially included with a purpose built wheelchair carriage to assist.
