The organisation of 4 groups, Bunbury, Hillarys, Midland Hills and South West allows for good social connectedness of members to gain Support, Information, Friendship and Understanding and ensuring members' wellbeing is looked after by our Association. Our wellbeing advocates response to the PVA National 1300 No. telephone assess members in trouble. We take care of sick partners of veterans and through our wellbeing advocates help get them the services they require. We conduct Partners of Veterans Australia Survey to identify members' needs. We represent issues and liaise with DVA & Govt: Perth Legacy: Australian War Widows WA, RSLWA: Open Arms & Carers WA; attend meetings nationally through the National Association (WA have 2 Board Directors) with DVA, ESORT, Female Veterans & Family Forum, Operational Working Party & the ADF Transitional Forums & working seminars to distribute current information on our Association. We attend commemorative services in Perth and country WA. We coordinate activities for our members at Perth legacy Camp & Members Retreat Week. We complete Media work, Radio interview & Public Announcement notices and social media networks; Compile information for National Newsletter and for the Statewide support group meetings. We organise and present an Information Day for members on uptodate issues relevant to members' wellbeing. We cater for the wellbeing of our country members by inclusiveness and visits to them.
