Wentworth District Community Medical Centre Incorporated

We completed the internal refurbishment, office and clinical fitout and related works, that resulted in a fit for purpose community owned medical centre. We opened the community owned medical centre to service provision enabling all members of our community, tourists, FIFO and seasonal workers to have access to local medical services. We have noted the growing use of the community facility, which in turn will assist in improving our health outcomes. We provided ongoing regular health promotion information sessions, including weekly articles for the local print media, regular regional radio, television, print and social media. We advocate all levels of government for the better provision of local health services, and provide a conduit between community and funders.
