The objects of the Association are: a) To promote Buddhism among members of the Association and those interested in the teaching. b) To provide a place for Buddhist rituals, practices, devotion, and spiritual refuge for members of the Association arid other Buddhist people living in Australia irrespective of Ethnic origin. c) To promote understanding and tolerance with all local religions. d) To enable Buddhist culture and traditions to be accessible to anyone interested as well as to maintain a religious and culture centre for Buddhist people living in Australia, especially South Australia.
