Voices Of Birralee Inc

Voices of Birralee is a Brisbane based nonprofit child and youth choral music organisation founded in 1995 by Julie Christiansen OAM. Starting as a children's choir, Voices of Birralee now has six weekly ensembles (three training choirs and 3 signature choirs) which as a result of the training provided have attained outstanding professionalism and received local, national and international acclaim. Voices of Birralee also continues to run Birralee Recycled a project choir for adults looking for a chance to sing in community. Voices of Birralee also operates the annual Qld Youth Music Awards, a friendly and nurturing eisteddfodlike programme which attracts participation from schools in SE Qld, and thousands of young musicians.
